Joni has done a fantastic job working with our family and our border collie pup. She has given clear and simple directions that have helped us control some difficult and persistent behaviors. She also has a knowledge of dogs and breeds that has helped us to learn the nature of our dog, which has helped us to better understand her needs. Joni has been working with us and our year and a half old border collie. We contacted her with specific goals in mind and she has been fantastic. She is great at explaining the methodology of why we do certain training tasks first and how to build upon them. She has included our kids in the training and made it easy for them to understand and get involved in all aspects of it. She is positive and encouraging and we’ve seen great success with Jack in such a short time.

Happy Puppy Training has helped us so much! We rescued a dog and Joni was there to help. She not only showed us ways to help our Stella, but also became Stella’s friend. She is very patient, kind, and fantastic with animals. Stella is still a work in progress but with Joni’s help, I know we will get there!

I contacted Joni with Happy Puppy Training to help make on-leash walks something I didn’t dread. I have two adult Great Danes and neither had good leash manners. We worked with each dog independently and Joni’s flexibility helped us find success as each dog needed different motivation to learn. She is calm and compassionate while she teaches positive reinforcement. After only a few lessons we saw great improvement. Best of all, on-leash walks are no longer filled with frustration so they happen more often now. Looking forward to upcoming lessons.
